The Blackface era Princeton Reverb is a winning combination of excellent tone and modest output power. Widely considered the most popular amp in Nashville, this reliable Fender combo never disappoints. This amp is in very good condition, with light wear accumulated over the years, and the only notable blemishes being a couple of drilled holes on the upper back panel. The stock speaker was swapped for a period correct 1967 Oxford 10L5, which has a larger magnet and higher wattage handling than the standard 10J4 model.

Internally, the amp remains mostly original. The power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the bias resistor. Otherwise, the preamp is entirely original, including the iconic Blue Molded Ajax coupling caps. The power transformer was swapped with a 2014 Classictone, and the voltages align perfectly with the original, translating into a fantastic sounding amp!
