From the personal collection of Mark Tremonti, this 1955 Deluxe was used by him for recording with Alter Bridge.

This 1955 Deluxe was re-covered at some point and finished in a nicely aged amber lacquer. It features the early 5B3/5C3 circuit with octal preamp tubes, known for their pronounced midrange bark compared to the later 9-pin types (12AY7/12AX7). Another neat feature about this particular amp is the output transformer has been swapped for a 1965 Schumacher 125A1A. This is the OEM model you would find in a Blackface Deluxe Amp/Reverb - which is probably an upgrade, or equal to the original Triad, in terms of quality.

The electrolytic caps have been replaced, and two coupling caps were swapped for later vintage equivalents. A small handful of resistors were changed as well—see circuit photos for details. This amp sounds like all your favorite records and is an absolute joy to play through!

The amp remains fully functional and has been preserved exactly as it was when Mark last used it. Buyers should note it still retains the 2-prong power cable and death cap.
