NotesChanged power cord and electrolytic caps. All original otherwise.
Blonde-era Fender Twins don’t get a ton of hype, mostly because there aren’t many of them out there. Even scarcer is the later 6G8-A circuit, which is highly sought after by those in the know. As with most brown/blonde-era Fenders, the harmonic tremolo is exceptional—and this one is no exception. This circuit also features the coveted “blue molded” Ajax capacitors, which tend to be more reliable than the Astrons found in earlier Fenders and, to many ears, offer a slightly improved tone.

This particular example is in superb condition for its age, showing only minor signs of previous wear along with a couple of light drink stains.

Internally, the power cord and electrolytic capacitors have been replaced, but it is otherwise original. A nice bonus is the presence of the original brown-label Oxford speakers—quite rare, given that their power handling isn’t ideally matched to the amp’s 80 watts of output!
