The Blackface Deluxe Reverb is held in legendary regard—especially in Nashville. It offers the perfect format for gigging, with an ideal balance of tone, size, and volume. This particular amp is in good shape, with light signs of previous wear and a small tear in the front tolex. The 125A1A output transformer is original, but has an added bracket to reinforce it's connection to the chassis. The original reverb transformer has been swapped for an OEM unit from 1984, and the speaker pigtail has been changed as well.
Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the screen grid resistors. One pot, one tremolo cap, and the optocoupler have been replaced on the preamp side, but otherwise it's all original. All of the original Blue Molded Ajax coupling caps are still present, resulting in an excellent sounding 1966 Deluxe Reverb! See specs and pictures for further details.
