This amp was built in March of 1965 and features FEIC Pre-CBS badging. The Blackface era Princeton Reverb is the perfect blend of excellent tone and modest output power. Widely regarded as the most popular amp in Nashville, this reliable Fender combo pairs seamlessly with any guitar. A neat feature about this particular amp is the presence a high-powered JBL K110 speaker, which delivers wonderful fidelity from low to high.
This amp has been professionally re-covered, and the vast majority of people would be hard-pressed to spot the difference. The baffle has also been replaced, though the original grill cloth was transferred over to preserve the authentic “tea-stained” Blackface look. Otherwise, the transformers are all original.
Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the power resistors and power tube sockets. Otherwise, the preamp remains original, including all of the coveted Blue Molded Ajax coupling caps. Please see the specs and photos for further details.
