The Fender Twin Reverb is a classic workhorse amp when you need a large, full clean sound. This example has held up very well over the years, remaining in very good condition with only a couple of small scrapes on the tolex. The original large-magnet Oxford speakers do a great job handling the amp’s considerable power. Another interesting feature is the master volume, which has been modified to a post-phase-inverter design, allowing for noticeably better preamp drive than the stock configuration.
Internally, the filter caps and power cord have been replaced. A few resistors have also been swapped for modern equivalents, but all of the original coupling caps remain aside from those changed as part of the master volume modification. Please see the circuit photos for further details.
