Fender Pre-CBS Concert 4x10 Combo Owned By John Bohlinger 1964, Black

This amp was built by FEIC in May of 1964, which is commonly referred to as Pre-CBS. While people are generally less familiar with the Blackface-era Concert, these amps deliver an excellent 40-watt punch and are essentially a non-reverb Super. When cranked they can exude a Tweed Bassman-like quality, sharing a similar format and transformer size, but with less gain.This particular example is in very good condition, showing only minor signs of previous wear, though the upper back panel is missing. 

Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the screen grid resistors. A few of the plate resistors have also been updated with modern carbon composition equivalents. Otherwise, the rest of the circuit remains original, including the coveted Blue Molded Ajax coupling caps.

As a neat bonus, this amp was longtime owned by beloved Nashville native and Premier Guitar icon John Bohlinger!
