Description

This is a unique era of the Fender Champ, having been built in '64, just before the transition to the AA764 Blackface circuit. Essentially, this means it still has the 5F1 Champ circuit—but with black covering!

The Tweed era Champ is renowned for its unmistakable charm, having long been a studio secret weapon for musicians seeking that perfect, compact tone. In a world where smaller, lower-powered amps are gaining in popularity, the Champ is the embodiment of stripped-down, functional brilliance. Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been changed, along with the fuse holder. Otherwise it's all original! It has some minor signs of wear, including small wood dents on the rear corner, but is still structurally well intact.
