Description

The Super Reverb is an iconic Fender amp that emerged during the Blackface era. While a 2x10 Super existed during the Brownface/Tweed years, the format was upgraded to a 4x10, guiding its DNA leaning closer to the ’50s Bassman amps. This example appears to be in good condition, with light signs of previous wear, and some scuffing mostly isolated to the corners. The original grillcloth and reverb tank have been swapped for modern equivalents.

Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the power tube sockets. Otherwise, the preamp is all original, including the Allen-Bradley carbon comp resistors, and Blue Molded Ajax coupling caps. Overall, this is a great Blackface amp with a stellar crunch when the volume is cranked!
