The Fender Concert is a 2-channel, 4x10 combo that delivers a big, rich sound. One of the more interesting aspects of this era Concert is its 4x10 format, which it shares with the Bassman. As a result, it also utilizes the same 45249 2-ohm output transformer, giving it a similarly bold and commanding voice. And, as you might expect, the harmonic tremolo sounds fantastic as well.
This particular example has remained in fabulous condition for its age, showing only minor signs of previous wear.
Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the phase inverter coupling capacitors. The filter cap cover ("doghouse") has also been replaced. Otherwise, the preamp remains original—please see the circuit photos for further details. It still retains its original transformers, along with a wonderful set of brown-label Oxford 10K5 Alnico speakers, making for a truly stellar combination.
