Description

This Deluxe Reverb is a transition-era piece, built just after the Blackface amps were updated to the new Silverface design. Along with the “drip-edge” trim, it also features the black vertical line on the faceplate, marking it as one of the earliest transition models. One of the best aspects of this era is that both the circuit and many of the components remain identical to the Blackface versions, including the famed “Blue Molded” Ajax coupling caps.

The amp appears to be in very good condition overall, showing only light signs of previous wear.

Internally, the power cord has been replaced, along with the electrolytic caps and the power-tube grid stopper resistors. Otherwise, it’s all original!
