This 1954 Fender Champ has a beautifully aged look, characteristic of Tweed amps from this era. Its classic small-format design makes it equally at home in the studio or mic’d up on stage in front of thousands. The 5C1 circuit features an octal 6SJ7 preamp tube, known for its unique midrange character compared to later 9-pin types.
The back panel has been replaced and lacquered to help match the aging of the amp. Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the speaker, but everything else remains original. The upgraded Legend 6" speaker provides a fuller, more robust sound compared to the vintage models originally used in these amps.
