The 5E7 Bandmaster is a rare and fantastical beast, that deserves it's own place in classic rock history, alongside the Bassman. While slightly lower in wattage than the Bassman (26w instead of 45w), the Bandmaster stands apart with a 5E9 Low-powered Twin-style preamp and a 3x10 speaker configuration instead of 4. Although this amp has been recovered, it was done professionally in-house at Fender, as evidenced by the flawless installation, replicating the original methods used in the '50s. The lacquer was sprayed here at CVG to achieve a lightly aged look.
You can rest assured about the internal components, as it remains completely stock except for the power cord and changed speaker cable leads. Equipped with 3x 1959 Jensen P10R speakers and a full set of Triad transformers, you can be sure the sound doesn't stand far removed from where it did back in 1959.
While fully functional, the buyer should note that this amp has aged electrolytic caps in use currently. If the amp is intended for prolonged or gigging use, it will need servicing (electrolytic caps, etc.).
