Description
The essence of this amp is still very much a Fender blackface, but has been appropriately dressed with the Vox style grillcloth indicating there's more going on under the hood. This amp has received a full Dumble-style "Ultraphonix" mod, done by famed D-clone builder Bill Dunham, under the name Sebago. Like the first line states this amp is still very Fender-like in it's sound and execution, just with enhancements all around. On the rear of the amp there's a 50w/100w power switch, which comes in handy depending on the club size you're playing. A great but often overlooked mod is the tremolo defeat switch, located to the right of the intensity knob, which adds some useful gain & volume when switched out of the circuit. Also, he has added a passive IN/Out loop on the back of the amp, should you want to simulate an in-circuit style reverb to your sound. Best of all this new circuit platform is built on top of the excellent Schumacher transformers original to the amp, so it really does have the best qualities of new and old!
