The Pro Reverb is often considered the best value among Blackface-era amps, and if you’re willing to carry a bit of extra weight, the sound is well worth it. It sits perfectly between the Deluxe and the Twin Reverb, offering a bigger sonic presence than the Deluxe without being too loud for smaller stages. This amp is in good condition, with light signs of wear and a couple of small blemishes here and there. The upper back panel has been replaced, along with the grill cloth.
Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been changed, along with the power and screen resistors. Two pots and the bright switch have also been changed. Three ceramic coupling caps have also been swapped, but most of the original preamp circuit remains intact. Thankfully, all of the original Blue Molded Ajax caps are still present, ensuring the Blackface sound stays intact. See circuit photos for more details.
