All of the 1950s-era Fender amps hold legendary status, and the Harvard brings a unique voice to the Tweed lineup. Often considered a single-channel Tweed Deluxe, its sound stands apart thanks to its use of a 6AT6/6AV6 tube in the first gain stage, giving it a distinctive tonal character. This particular amp is in excellent condition, with a nice bit of aging to the Tweed covering, and only minor wear for it's age.
Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with the power resistors and selenium diode. The original coupling caps have been swapped for modern equivalents, but all of the preamp resistors still remain. The transformers are original as well, with a re-coned original P10R Jensen.
