This 5E3 narrow panel Deluxe has that rugged worn tweed look, wearing the badge of miles traveled and stories yet to be told. Generally speaking when they look this way the sound lives up to the appearance, and this one doesn't disappoint - it has a distinct tweed roar, possibly driven by a changed blackface era Deluxe output transformer. Internally it's had the power cord replaced, along with the handle, and the filter caps (rehoused in original shells). In the preamp circuit it's only had one coupling cap changed, but the amp is otherwise original.
