Universally accepted as the favorite of the "mid sized" Fender amps, the Vibrolux has an unmistakable character that players are drawn to. With a 35 watt, 6L6 power section it can keep up with the band without the added size and weight of larger models. As a 1974 model, it features the post-blackface circuit but predates the Master Volume models.
This amp is great shape, with only minor signs of previous wear, with a couple of light scuffs here and there. Internally, the filter caps and power resistors have been changes, along with the tremolo optocoupler, and the 3 coupling caps in the Phase Inverter section. Otherwise, the preamp is all original, including the preamp electrolytic caps. Overall, this amplifier offers a sound quality comparable to its blackface counterparts but at a more accessible price point.
