The Fender Concert is a 2-channel, 4x10 combo that delivers a big, rich sound. An interesting feature of this era Concert is the 4x10 format it shares with the Bassman, meaning it also uses the same 45249 output transformer—resulting in a fantastic tone! The harmonic tremolo on this amp sounds particularly great, having been serviced at some point to ensure optimal functionality.
Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, and a bias pot was added. As mentioned, a few caps in the tremolo section have been changed, but most of the tone-related "Blue Molded" Ajax caps remain intact. Please refer to the pictures for further details. The grillcloth has been replaced with a modern gold-thread type. Fortunately, the amp still retains all its original transformers and a brilliant set of original brown-label Oxford 10k5 Alnico speakers.
