This 1954 Tweed Deluxe is in great shape, with that signature aged tweed look. The front baffle and grillcloth have been replaced, but the rest of the cabinet is original. The early 5C3 circuits used octal preamp tubes, but later in 1954 they were factory switched to the 9-pin types we know and use today (12AY7/12AX7).
The power cord has been changed, along with the electrolytic caps and one power resistor. On the preamp side, one cathode resistor was swapped, but it is otherwise original—including all of the yellow Astrons. The speaker is a period appropriate Jensen P12Q from 1957.
