Description

This Vibro-Champ is a transition-era piece, built just after the Blackface amps were updated to the new design. In addition to the "drip-edge" aesthetics, this amp features the black line on the faceplate, indicative of the very first transition models. Internally, the circuit is entirely blackface, as indicated by the AA764 designation on the tube chart. It shows moderate signs of previous use but still looks very good for its age.

Other than a changed power cable, this amp is completely original! Despite being fully functional the buyer should note this amp has long expired electrolytic capacitors, and a delicate original speaker cone. Should someone need prolonged or gigging use from this piece then servicing would be advised.
