Description

The Fender Concert is a 2-channel, 4x10 combo that delivers a big, rich sound. The harmonic tremolo on this amp sounds particularly outstanding, to the point where you don’t need to turn the intensity control very far to achieve a deep, vibrant effect. Internally, the power cord and electrolytic caps have been replaced, along with a couple of power resistors. On the preamp side, all the original coupling caps have been swapped for modern equivalents. Additionally, all of the pots have been replaced—please refer to the circuit pics for more details. Fortunately, the amp still retains all its original transformers and a brilliant set of original brown label, gold frame Oxford 10k5 speakers. The condition shows only minor signs of previous wear and it looks great for its age.
