This 1966 Martin D-28 features the classic dreadnought combination of a spruce top with rosewood back and sides - boasting one of the last years of Brazilian rosewood construction. It has strong low end, clear trebles, and balanced response across the strings. This example has had a neck reset, along with replacement bridge pins and a replacement saddle to keep everything functioning properly. The guitar remains exceptionally clean overall for its age. Visible wear includes some light pick wear on the top and a few small finish dings on the back and sides. A well-preserved mid-1960s example that has received the routine maintenance often seen on a guitar of this vintage.
Includes 60s Martin hard shell case.
