Condition NotesWell aged with beautiful checking, but nothing severe. Overall a very clean condition for its age, plays excellent. Some more significant wear and dings on the back.
This D-28 is a fantastic timepiece. While technically not pre-war, it carries all the charm and character sought after in a Martin not much younger than those iconic examples. It’s in very good condition for its age, featuring beautiful finish checking, modest dings on the top, and more noticeable wear on the back—nothing severe or out of line for a well-loved vintage instrument. It has had several standard, professional repairs, allowing it to play excellently and remain ready for many years of great music ahead. Comes with a hard-shell case.
*When using Affirm, we charge an additional 3.5% fee on the total at checkout. The majority of our instruments are consignment, where CVG keeps a small percentage of each sale. To be able to cover the additional costs required to offer financing, we have to include a higher fee to the customer. The 3.5% fee will be included in and spread across your Affirm payments.
