This 1945 Martin D-28 is an exquisite late wartime example in excellent shape for its age. It's a true cannon with powerful tone, that's wide open after all these years. It has the great neck shape these models are known for with a soft V that gets sharper down the neck. Cosmetically, it remains in very good condition with light finish checking and a few superficial finish cracks that don't seem to make it down through the wood. It's undergone thoughtful repair to keep it in great playing shape inlacing a neck reset, bridge replacement and refret. A list of full repairs can be found on our specs tab.
Includes vintage black Lifton hard shell case with red lining.
