Condition NotesGreat condition. Top is authentically aged which has helped the top check beautifully. Very light belt buckle dings and scratches on the back.

This 2021 Martin D-18 Authentic 1937 is in great condition. Widely regarded as one of the finest recreations of a pre-war Martin, the D-18 Authentic 1937 Aged captures the sound, feel, and character of a legendary 1937 D-18. Built using hide glue construction and Martin’s Authentic 1937 forward-shifted scalloped bracing, it delivers the power, responsiveness, and complexity that have made pre-war Martins so sought after.

Featuring genuine mahogany back and sides and a thermally aged Adirondack spruce top treated with Martin’s Vintage Tone System® (VTS), this guitar offers the open, broken-in voice of a well-played vintage instrument. The tone is rich, woody, and dynamic, with exceptional projection, strong fundamentals, and remarkable clarity across the fretboard.

The factory-aged finish has developed beautiful, authentic-looking finish checking across the top, further enhancing its vintage character. The guitar is in great condition overall, with only light belt-buckle dings and minor surface scratches on the back consistent with careful use. Structurally excellent and playing beautifully, it delivers the feel and sound of a seasoned pre-war instrument with the reliability of a modern Martin.

A remarkable example of Martin’s Authentic Series, offering vintage-inspired tone, responsiveness, and craftsmanship at the highest level.
