This 000-18 is a wonderful vintage orchestra-size acoustic with all the charm and character one hopes to find in a seasoned Martin. It plays beautifully on the original frets, and the V-shaped neck feels substantial yet comfortable in hand. The tone is warm, cohesive, and full-bodied, with excellent balance and a mature, woody character. While it shows signs of use consistent with its age, it has been well preserved and is ready for many more years of music-making.

It was previously owned by Dick Penner, author of the Roy Orbison hit "Ooby Dooby." The headstock bears a plaque with Penner's name, and there are several images online of Penner holding the guitar.

Includes the original hardshell case (OHSC).
