Description

This is a very unique 1968 Super Reverb, with modifications done by Smitty from Bluetron. The values themselves are pretty close to AB763 stock overall, but all of the resistors have been changed to carbon/metal film, along with the coupling caps changed for vintage paper & oil Russian types (plus a pair of orange drops). The biggest change is an adjustable feedback control added to the back of the amp, which mostly affects the style of breakup you get from the amp. Thankfully the transformers are all still OEM Schumacher types, so the changes were done on a solid foundation. The electrolytic caps and power cord have been changed as well, along with the front grillcloth. Feel free to request a sound clip, and see circuit pics for further details.This amp was used extensively on stage and in the studio by Colt Ford guitarist Brad Henderson. It also comes with a heavy duty road case.
