Description
This represents an excellent example of what is widely regarded as the quintessential "Nashville" amplifier. The blackface era Princeton Reverb combines exceptional sound with modest output power, making it equally suitable for gigging or recording. This amp is in gorgeous condition, with some minor play wear that can only be noticed during an up close inspection. Collectors looking for clean items should take heed.
The speaker is an older version of the original Oxford 10K5 that would have come installed, and it sounds great. The power transformer is the only real change, but it matches the voltages perfectly and doesn't affect the sound at all. Thankfully the original output transformer, and all preamp components are still original. The power cord and electrolytic caps have been changed, along with a bias trim pot added for easy adjustment. Overall this is a spectacular sounding Princeton, which move really fast whenever we get them!
