This is one of the earlier "TV Front" Fender Deluxes, which is still in great condition for its age. The octal preamp tubes have a nice, thick midrange-y sound to them, that distinguishes them from the later 9-pin circuits. This one has a changed output transformer, power cable, electrolytic caps, and 2 coupling coupling caps were changed for the later "Blue Molded" type from the 60's. These are charming and great sounding alternative to the more expensive narrow-panel models from the later 50's.
