Fender Bassman 50 Head and 2x15 Cabinet 1974, Black

The Fender Bassman is a classic American design, and has been around since the early 50's. This mid 70's Bassman 50 amp is a slightly lower gain, higher headroom version of the normal Bassman, with a way deeper frequency range, via the 15's. You get excellent bass response, and it will run great with pedals for an overdriven sound. The speakers in the cabinet are one EV, and one original CTS. Internally the amp is all original, with the exception of changed filament resistors.. so the buyer should be aware a filter cap servicing might need to be done somewhere down the road. The amp shows signs of previous use, and still looks very good. The cabinet has some tolex peeling off on the back, which is common for these.
