A 1997 Martin D-41 in Natural, this example pairs the familiar dreadnought body with the ornate appointments that set the D-41 apart. The spruce top and rosewood back and sides give it the full, powerful response expected from a large-bodied Martin, while the 14-fret neck and comfortable dreadnought proportions make it an easy fit for a range of playing styles. A center seam crack below the bridge has been repaired with super glue and remains stable, and there is another stable crack near the end pin. A NoJack has also been installed, and there are minor dings and scratches throughout the finish. Overall, the guitar is in good condition and remains a strong-sounding example of a late-’90s D-41.
