The body has been refinished and developed beautiful checking throughout, along with small dings and scratches that add to its vintage character. It feels comfortable and broken-in, with the rounded neck profile typical of this era. Tonally, it delivers the powerful, resonant voice these vintage D-28s are known for, with deep, woody bass, a strong dry midrange, clear trebles, and excellent projection.
