This 1990 Martin HD-28 BLE is part of a limited run of just 100 instruments, built with Brazilian rosewood back and sides and a selection of special appointments not found on the standard HD-28. The dreadnought body and spruce top give it a strong foundation, while the Brazilian rosewood construction adds to its visual appeal and tonal character. Limited-edition details throughout the guitar distinguish it from a regular-production HD-28, making this a particularly uncommon Martin from the period. This example offers the familiar HD-28 format with a rare combination of woods and limited-run appointments. It does have higher "Bluegrass" action and could benefit from a neck reset, but it plays fairly well in its current state.
Includes OHSC.
