The Martin D-28 has been the longstanding flagship model through the golden ages. The formula: Spruce top, Rosewood back and sides, and Ebony bridge. Once you get into this territory, there is still a lot of distance within the weeds to travel in terms of specs and variations. To start, this guitar featured here is one of the greatest sounding to come through the shop. The Brazilian Rosewood back and sides are highly figured, the spruce top is wide grained, and the lacquer is thin and checked. As far as modifications go to the vocal success, the tone bars are scalloped and the bridge plate is now a thin maple plate. The guitar has had a replacement of its bridge, now slightly wider, a neck reset, replacement pickguard, and a refret. To reiterate, the sound is stellar.
Comes with original green lined case.
