Description

This 2014 Martin D-28 1937 Authentic attempts to recreate Martin's gold standard 1937 D-28 model - arguably the most desirable dreadnought ever produced. With Madagascar Rosewood back and sides and an Adirondack Spruce top, its tone rivals that of the originals. It's rich, substantial and crisp, and its soft "V" is an extremely comfortable shape and size. Cosmetically, it remains in great shape - only minimal wear on the body and some finish scratches on the headstock from restringings.
