This guitar is evidence that post war taper braced Martins have their own voice and feel, and can be every bit as powerful as a pre war! In early 1947, Martin moved away from herringbone purfling on their style 28 models. This particular guitar has an amazing feeling chunky neck, and is set up with nice medium action. Modifications and repairs include a replaced bridge and saddle, a neck reset, refret, bridge reglue, reattached pickguard, replaced nut, overspray on the top, and reglued x-brace. Comes with a modern Martin hard case.
