Description

This Martin Custom Shop D-18 is a great example of a Custom Shop build inspired by Martin’s Authentic Series. It has the look and feel of a well-played vintage Martin, with Level 1 aging that gives it a lightly worn-in character. The neck is on the larger side, transitioning from a C profile into a soft V, which makes it very comfortable in the hand. Tonally, it has strong projection and responds well to both flatpicking and fingerstyle playing. The Martin Amber Tone finish gives it that classic shaded-top look as well. The only modifications are a strap button added at the heel and a K&K pickup installed.
