This 1956 Martin D-28 is a well-maintained example of the classic model with great playability. The stunning Brazilian rosewood back and sides pair with a spruce top that shows typical signs of use - small dings, scrapes and player wear. It has undergone a neck reset, refret, and bridge reglue with a crack repair, along with a bridge plate reglue and a reshaped, reglued pickguard. A strap button has also been added, and there are numerous scrapes on the heel. The work that has been completed addresses the structural needs of the instrument while keeping it in active rotation. It remains a solid, broken-in D-28.
Includes vintage tweed hard shell case.
