This Marshall cabinet features the classic checkerboard grillcloth, indicating it was made in the 1970s. Like most vintage Marshall cabinets, when paired with a Marshall 50w or 100w head, it creates a truly blissful combination. The cabinet has seen a fair bit of road us and shows moderate wear, with small scuffs and tears from transportation. It’s missing the corner plastics on one side, leaving just the raw screws. The rear serial number plaque is also missing. The wiring was also replaced at some point with heavy-duty, large-gauge wire.
The speakers are a mix of era-correct G12M 25w Greenback models. The two 1973 speakers still have their Pulsonic cones, marked by a single "3" stamp. The 1974 G12M has a RIC cone, which was OEM factory production the Pulsonic cones were discontinued in 1973. The last speaker is the 1972 G12M, which has a tighter ribbed cone with an unknown code—please see the pictures for further details. Despite the slight differences, the sound comes together to deliver an incredible sonic experience!
