These rare Marshall PA column speakers were originally designed to pair with a PA20 head, though they also make a unique and excellent option for guitar. The original speakers have been replaced with a full set of Celestion G10 Greenbacks, giving them a warm, punchy voice while offering modern reliability and power handling. Another interesting detail is the grill cloth, which is more reminiscent of the 2x10 and 2x12 Marshall combos of the era than the basketweave or checkerboard cloth more commonly found on Marshall cabinets. It appears to have plenty of age and patina, suggesting it is either original or was replaced many years ago. The Marshall logo has also been replaced and reoriented to the horizontal style. The handles have also been replaced.
Overall, these are an uncommon piece of Marshall history that combine classic aesthetics with a practical, great-sounding open-back design!
