Description

This Limited Edition 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue brings together Gibson’s historic craftsmanship and select tonewoods, featuring a figured maple top over a mahogany body with a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. The Lemonburst finish highlights the subtle flame and vintage-correct details that define the ’59 aesthetic. A set of OX4 humbuckers has been installed, delivering a rich, articulate voice with plenty of character, while the original Custombuckers are included in the case. The neck has the comfortable chunkier late-’50s carve and hand-applied nitro finish that give this model its familiar feel. A finely built example from the Custom Shop’s most sought-after series.
