Description

This 1961 Gibson Les Paul SG represents the first year of the now-iconic double-cutaway design. The slim mahogany body and fast neck carve make it instantly recognizable from this brief transitional period before the SG name officially took over. Its original electronics and hardware remain intact and provide the iconic creamy PAF tone. The only modification to note is a replaced switch tip. It remains in remarkable shape for its age, with finish dings around the edge and checking throughout.
