This early-’70s SG Special carries the look and feel of a well-aged classic. Finished in cherry that’s mellowed beautifully over time, it features a solid mahogany body and neck paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard. The dual P-90 pickups deliver the raw, open sound that defined the model’s era, with plenty of dynamic range and bite. The neck is definitely on the chunkier side, approaching "U" territory for fans of a thicker neck. Its light build make it a comfortable, responsive instrument. A straightforward, character-rich example of Gibson’s early Norlin-period craftsmanship. Cosmetically, it's in very good condition for its age with typical light player wear to note.
Includes original chipboard case.
