This 70s Gibson Les Paul Custom has been refinished in an aged Alpine White and given a lightly aged treatment that recalls the appearance of well-played Customs from the era. The combination of multi-ply binding, block inlays, and gold hardware remains one of Gibson’s most recognizable looks. Patent No. sticker pickups deliver the powerful sound expected from a Norlin-era Les Paul.
Over the years, the guitar has undergone a number of updates including a repaired headstock break, replaced pots fitted with period-correct black capacitors, replacement hardware, a refret, and a replaced nut. The Alpine White refinish and relic work give the instrument a broken-in appearance that complements its history of use. Rather than serving as a time-capsule example, this Les Paul Custom has evolved through decades of maintenance and modification, resulting in a guitar with its own distinct character and story.
Includes Gibson chainsaw case with blue interior.
