This 1959 Les Paul Jr. is a classic model with significant alteration throughout its life. It received a professionally crafted replacement neck by Max, along with a pickup rewind, updated electronics, a Music City bridge, replacement bridge studs, a new nut, and several carefully executed restoration details including finish touch-up, side dot replacement, headstock face overspray, period-correct truss rod cover, and a comprehensive setup. Additional changes include replacement knobs, a replacement control cavity cover, and several replacement screws, while the original finish has been touched up on the lower back with localized overspray. The guitar that has continually been maintained with an emphasis on keeping it in service. In very good condition, it remains a lively, road-tested Junior with the unmistakable character.
