Description

This 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom is finished in Ebony and retains the original low-profile “Fretless Wonder” frets that are characteristic of the model from this period. The original nut has been removed, sanded and reworked before being reinstalled, while the original pickups were also removed and later put back in place. It remains a compelling example of the late-’60s Les Paul Custom, with its distinctive appointments and understated Ebony finish. The guitar shows the expected signs of its age and use while retaining plenty of original character.
