Description

The Gibson Les Paul Classic 1960 brings the look of an early-’60s Les Paul into a modern production model, with a slimmer neck profile and vintage-inspired appointments. This 2008 example has an Ebony finish over the traditional Mahogany body and carved Maple top, with a Rosewood fingerboard and uncovered humbuckers. The classic four-knob layout and Tune-o-matic bridge keep the setup familiar, while the lighter-feeling ’60s-style neck gives the guitar a more streamlined feel than a ’50s-spec Les Paul. It’s a clean, straightforward take on the Les Paul Classic with a sharp look and plenty of vintage influence.
