Description

Gibson’s Collector’s Choice series recreates specific vintage instruments in detail, and the #11 “Rosie” Les Paul Standard draws from an original 1959 Burst. This Custom Shop example pairs a Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish with a figured Maple top, lightweight Mahogany body, and Mahogany neck with a Rosewood fingerboard. Custombucker pickups and vintage-style electronics bring the familiar PAF-era configuration to the build, while the ’59-style neck profile gives it the substantial feel of a late-’50s Les Paul. The finish and aging capture the look of the original instrument, making this a particularly notable entry in Gibson’s Collector’s Choice series.
