This 2020 Gibson Custom Tom Murphy Aged Les Paul takes the classic Goldtop recipe and gives it a top-of-its-class vintage treatment from the Tom Murphy himself. The aged finish has plenty of checking and wear throughout, giving the guitar the look of a well-used Les Paul without straying far from the original design. The neck has a comfortable medium shape with plenty of meat without being overbearing. It’s a nicely done Custom Shop Goldtop that feels familiar right away, with the Murphy aging adding some personality to set it apart.
